NWS has raised the risk level to ELEVATED for both severe thunderstorms and tornadoes. As well, a tornado watch has been issued for several counties, including Tulsa, effective until 9:00 PM this evening.

Probability for a chase this evening is HIGH.

I'm out here, but not sure where to go. The storms to the south lost their punch as they approached. Will wait here in south Tulsa for a bit to see if something specific develops.

I'm just west of henryetta, strong winds, lowering in the clouds, heavy rain. Hail epected. I'll be gettin on the back side of the storm when this passes through.

Went as far east as Checotah. Stopped N of Muskogee for something to eat, then it's home. The storm continued to get bigger, moving east and to the south, but with work in the morning, needed to get home.

Hope everyone got through the storm south of Tulsa. Looked like it was pretty severe as well.

Got a few photographs of the storm in Henryetta. Will post later this week.
